My Mom hasn't been able to use this quite yet, but she is really excited to take a bath after so long just sitting in a chair. She has been scared to take baths before now because she had to worry about getting out. I think this is an answer to her prayers. Thank you!
The product needs to be returned. My mother doesn't like it. Please advise how to do so. Thanks
Good for the price.
Haven't used it yet
Primarily purchased this BathLyft for getting my 200 pound senior citizen husband up from the floor. I viewed it on YouTube and a chiropractor was demonstrating it. It is very easy as long as the person can sit and scoot onto the BathLyft while he/she is on the floor. Then you simply push the raise button and it gets him/her to a higher position where they can use a walker or assistant to stand up. I recommend opening the box and charging the battery ( the hand controller). I did not need the chair, for my spouse, until a month after he got out of the hospital from surgery, and had just left it in a spare room, unopened in the box. Lo and behold, one afternoon he slipped right out of his recliner onto the carpeted floor. I heard a “thud” and there he was, sitting on the carpet. In the past, I have struggled getting him up. I am only a 100 pound weakling. 😳. I managed to get the controller partially quick charged within 5 minutes of plugging it into my HALO Bolt Wireless Laptop Power Bank (a great investment as well, and mine is over 5 years old, available on Amazon). I am charging the hand controller by wall socket now. My husband is happy and back in his comfortable Lazy Boy Lift Recliner.
Earlier, I had taken more time with installing the backrest hooks into the base. I thought they simply latched on; however I needed to use a little force, with the palm of my hand, and snap down one hook at a time.
Oh yes…this BathLyft has already saved me, so far, an out of pocket expense for a one time trip from EMT at $150.
I highly recommend this BathLyft! Thank you very much to the inventor and the manufacturer! I am very happy as well! 😉
